The Left Wing of the political spectrum is the liberal or "progressive" view of International Politics. Leftist ideaology often emphasizes social equality and egalitarianism in opposition to social hierarch of the Right Wing. Leftist circles are split between the authoritarian left which believes in the use of force and oppression to achieve these goals and the libertarian left which believes in the use of peace and social construct to achieve these goals.
